Magazine evaluation

What I have learned while doing this project is that there are a lot of camera angles used while taking a picture of someone for a magazine I also had to research and learn some of the key terms for a magazine cover like the masthead is the name of the magazine or the name of the company that created the magazine I also had to analyse the front cover of a magazine and research what goes on the front cover of a magazine like what images can be used how big does the font have to be.

I also had to research the double page spread of a magazine and analyse what goes on the double spread like how big the image has to be or what image has to be used for the double page spread.

Another thing I had to analyse was the work of some photographers so I had to analyse some of their pictures like what camera angle did they take the picture from why did they take that picture and what does it represent and I had to analyse three pictures from three photographers I had to also to look at some of the magazine created by Birmingham Living Magazine and look at how they structured the front cover so like how big the font is the images they used how they structured the whole magazine and I also analysed their double page spread to see how they structured the double page spread.

After that I had to create a front cover and a double page spread of my own for the Birmingham living Magazine so I had to think about the image I have to take and use front cover and also I needed to think how to structure it and for my double page spread I had to think about the image and I also had to research the topic I wanted to write so I had to do a research for a movie so I had to look at websites that looked at movies. After I researched the topic I had to write it down then after that I needed pictures for both the front cover and the double page spread so I had to get picture of the movie I was reviewing for the double page spread and also had to an image for the front cover.

After I got the image I had to use Adobe Photoshop so I can crop them or resized them so the front cover was the first one I had to do so I had to get the Birmingham Living magazine title and I had to crop the background out of that and then I had to put the image in there but first I had to crop it and the all I had to do was add the other subheading and the cover line the double page spread was the second one I had so I had to get the image that was the background and then I had to add the topic I researched about to the double page spread and then I got some more images then I had crop those images and then I uploaded them on my double page spread.
